EPR3 Push Rod Melt Pressure Transducers

The push - rod design is suitable for applications where the use of a filled system may not be desirable, such as the extrusion of food and medical products and the manufacture of photographic film. Model EPR3 is available in pressure ranges from 0 - 1,500 through 0 - 10,000 psi.

MDA410 Pressure Sensors

Model MDA410 uses a special high temperature fill (NaK, Potassium Sodium) and an Inconel diaphragm to allow accurate pressure measurements in processes with temperatures as high as 1000°F. The transducers are supplied with a high accuracy (0.25%), great repeatability and reliability. An 6-pin bendix-style connector is used for easy connect and disconnect. The MDA410 is the most commonly used alternate fill melt pressure transducer in the world.

The MDA410 Series includes models MDA410, MDA412, and TDA412.

Guardian Series

Machinery Directive standard EN ISO 13849-1 is a European safety regulation. This is a generic standard defining the requirements for the safety-related parts of control systems. Guardian meets the directive without the expense and complication of redundant sensors and external relay modules. Guardian also complies with NFPA 79 clauses A.9.2, A.9.4.1, A.9.4.3.2 as a way of evaluating safety-related aspects of control functions.

DYN-X-MA Series

The DYN-X-MA sensor provides the industry standard 4-20 mA amplified signal designed to work with DCS and PLCs. The DYN-X-MA comes equipped with adjustable zero and span side-mounted potentiometers. DYN-X-MA Series sensors can be re-zeroed in two ways: locally via the zero potentiometer or remotely via shorting two pins together (contact closure). Optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available to provide melt temperature.

PT450 Series

For easy installation, the flexible stem transducer is offered in flanged (model PT450FA) and threaded (model PT450TA) versions. Both models are ideal for processing low viscosity materials and applications such as fiber spinning and polymer transport lines.

PT420A Series

The PT420A Series transducer is a +/- 0.25% sensor ideal for melt pressure applications requiring high accuracy, simple installation, repeatability and reliability.
